What's the best tool for designing playfields and converting it to code?

What's the best tool for designing playfields and converting it to code?

 

No idea about what the "best" is, but I made this playfield editor tool to make life easier for myself.

Thanks Everyone!  I tried all three and it looks like the vdub_bobby version is the only one that does an asymmetrical playfield so I'm going to give it a shot.  I've been using an Excel spreadsheet with conditional formatting and formulas to generate code but its clunky:

Cool..  It took me only a few minutes to recreate what I had and it also flips the data upside down for you if you want.  My only little complaint would be that there are no gridlines to help keep track of where you are:
