At the 7:30 mark of this video (from 1984) the TI representative talks about the TI Pro-Lite laptop. He has an example unit there...

There seems to be very little info about this machine. Anyone ever see one in action?

Man now a foldup Bluetooth keyboard and your cellphone does more!

Very cool.. I went to some show back in the day and they had a TI Professional setup showing voice recognition. It was a big deal that it would train to a particular voice and then not respond to others.

Texas Tech University had a lab full of TI-PC. I took a Saturday tutorial there on how to use PeachText (word processing), and PeachTree Accounting. 

 

I didn't know there was a laptop form off TI-PC.

 

Later in the 80s, I enjoyed many hours playing Ultima V on a friend's TI Travelmate. That turned out to be a very good laptop line, which was eventually sold to Toshiba.
