AtariLeaf
Good friends of mine own a local furniture store and they are currently having some things on clearance. I saw this on their facebook page and it would be a great set to have in an Atari themed room

Flojomojo
Good friends of mine own a local furniture store and they are currently having some things on clearance. I saw this on their facebook page and it would be a great set to have in an Atari themed room How deep are their discounts? The Eames set is expensive, even/especially at Design Within Reach. That's not within MY reach, not for a chair. I agree that it looks nice though, and humbly suggest that wood-n-black came first, and Atari copied that look. Especially since the Atari doesn't use real wood.
Gentlegamer
This must go with a big handsome wood console television.
Flojomojo
This must go with a big handsome wood console television. Do you want to mix eras? Because the original is from 1956, before tube screens were very big. They were black and white, of course. Ooh ... edited to correct myself. Color sets were coming out then. $500 in 1956 would be like $4,569.16 today. Same price as the Eames chair/stool set!
Gentlegamer
A nice 80s console TV is acceptable.
Flojomojo
A nice 80s console TV is acceptable. Google Image Search found us a nice one at this Pennsylvania Recycling site, in the "hard to process" section. Ooh ahh
AtariLeaf
I'd have to ask them about price but it might be up there even on sale. It's a high end store.
