Dust Covers from PrinterBoy on Etsy

I noticed that a seller named 'PrinterBoy' on etsy.com has been selling what look like attractive dust covers for the Jaguar and other consoles.

They look nice in the photo, and the price seems very reasonable.

Has anyone here bought one? If so, what do you think of the cover?

I've got of few of Printerboys covers as well. I still prefer Barb's covers but I'm not sure how actively she is doing them now since her husband passed about a year ago now. But Printerboy does have covers for pretty much all consoles and has designed them with cutouts on the back so you can leave all the cabling plugged in and still use them easily. My main issue with his covers is that they are of a much lighter overall material. And while it does look nice to have the pic of the console printed on the covers, bit does kinda clash a bit and look more busy. Thankfully he does offer some other options with solid colors and even clear vinyl covers though I've not see any of those. His printed ones like you see in the original post up top, is on a thin fabric like material. His vinyl covers I believe are solid colors only.

And since they are shipping from Mexico, they can take a few weeks to arrive. I believe the last set of covers I ordered from him, (My PS3, PS4, WiiU..and Genesis+32x+CD) took at least a month to arrive. They were all folded up as was mentioned, but that doesn't really bother me and in time the folds will work out on their own.

I have seen those and like the look of them! But I keep my Jag CD on there and would prefer not to have to take it off to install this cover. Would be sweet if there was an option to get one with a Jag CD on top! I know they sell ones with a pocket on top for a 32X add on to the Genesis so if they had something like that for the Jag I'd be all over it! Would save getting dust into those side vents on the Jag, otherwise the Jag shell is pretty smooth and easy to wipe any dust off of, but the vents are where it can be hard to clean if left out too long.

The covers that Barb makes, she did have one that included the JagCD I have that one myself. The only real issue with those if you want to even call it that, is the covers do not have holes or cutouts on the back for the cabling. So technically they are designed for covering the system when it is just sitting on a shelf not being used. But having said that, I've managed to basically the get the covers to co on with the cords in place and even controllers plugged in. They just don't sit quite right obviously.

I hope she eventually starts offering the service again. I have her 30th Anniversary Atari 7800 dust cover and it's sweet. Would love to get more of her work for my other consoles and computers. She even made some for the Vectrex.

I finally received my cover yesterday. Even though PrinterBoy (etsy) sent it by registered mail, it took about 6 weeks to travel from Guadalajara, Mexico to Victoria, Canada - and the tracking shows it left Mexico City by airplane on Dec 26... bloody slow bastards at Canada Customs I expect.

Anyways, the cover is a decent-weight vinyl. The quality of the image looks very good, though the material is not as 'hefty' as the pleather covers that Barb's funstuff makes. With shipping, it was only about $17 US, so the cost was very reasonable. There is a gap at the back so you can leave the cables hooked up easily. The front allows you to leave controller cables connected with the cover on (see pic). Overall it looks good, and I might order some more of his covers for my other systems. I note he makes these imaged covers for quite a few different retro consoles.

I just got a couple of these new vinyl covers from PrinterBoy too. For my Genesis 2/Sega CD 2 combo and my Virtual Boy. I like these better then the older cover I bought from him which felt more like light windbreaker material. I agree that they aren't as robust as Barb's covers, but he does offer covers for the consoles she dosen't make. It's worth noting my last order took 6 weeks to get over the holidays. The Mexican Post is painfully slow.

Barb is still actively selling her fantastic dust covers. When looking via ebay use the term "dustcover" as she does in her listing titles.

If you do not see the dust cover you want listed, then just message her. Multiple styles and embroidery colors available for lots of different consoles.

I'm glad to see Barb is still making these. Jerry's passing was incredibly difficult for her and I had worried her motivation might not be there. I'm also glad to see she is now offering the TG-16 cover with my digitized version of the logo I made for her as it looks really nice! I need to send her an email and see how she it doing. Thanks for letting me know Vectrexer! I also wish Barb offered covers for some of the other consoles as well and the only reason I went to Printerboy's covers originally was that he offered the combo Sega Genesis+CD various combo covers and they work well. Now of course I need to get one for the model 2 CD as I was originally using a Model 1 CD in my setup.

And why does NO one make a cover for the TurboDUO and DUO-R and RX consoles yet?
