+Sauron
Are you playing it on a real ST? Where did you download it from? Do you have any other 1 meg only games that happen to crash also?

MrMaddog
You might want to run a memory checker to make sure you have a full working 1024 bytes of memory. True story: I bought my 1040 STe and only the half meg games worked. So when I got a hold of a meory checker program it reported only 512K, so I took it down to the dealer and told to take a look at it. They kept saying British games don't work right on ST's but when they plugged a diagnostic cartridge they realized not only was it a fault STe but they sold me the wrong one that was suppose to go to someone else. +Sauron
Definitely try running a memory checker, that was my first guess as well.
Wally1
well I ran a memory checker; it all checked fine. hmm dunno - i settle for less, yes that is okay!
+Sauron
Are you sure the memory checker recognized 1 MB of RAM instead of 512KB? I know, probably a stupid question, but best to ask anyway.
Wally1
it said 1024 k potential and 700 something available tell you the truth i subscribe to the theory that less is more, so i find solace in the smaller version
