Give Away's - TI Item Retirement Thread (Postage Expense Only)

Omega-TI

Recommended Posts

This thread is for people wanting to send off their retired or duplicate TI items to a good home, and are not trying to make any money off the deal. Of course something like this could be 'taken advantage of', so there are some rules.

Sellers

1) Will charge postage fees, rounded up to the next highest dollar.

2) Will have total discretion over whom they give the item to.

Buyers

1) Please, request an item only if you REALLY need it.

Some people may dearly want an item, but may not be able to afford it otherwise, give them a chance to score.

2) Don't abuse this thread for resale purposes.

I have an item to 'retire'. It was only used once before I 'upgraded', so this 32K case has been sitting around the den unused taking up space ever since. So, if you own an unprotected JediMatt42 32K, unit and are an active participant here in the TI forums, you can claim this item for yourself as long as you are willing to PayPal $8.00 to cover the flat-rate mailer.

Due to my schedule, shipping is not guaranteed until Wednesday of next week.

I only have the Extended Basic cart with my 99 and could use an Editor/Assembler cart if anyone has a spare, I don't see these come up on Ebay in the UK I think it's a case of everyone just has the one E/A cart with their system.

btw i have these on arcadeshopper.com as well as many other original carts .. just some shipping across the pond

I have one for you. Just let me know where to ship and that´s it :)

@Schmitzi wow! :-o

Christmas just came early, an Editor/Assembler cart you say? Yes and how abouts :- Alpiner, Munchman, Disk Manager 2, TI Invaders, Adventure and Terminal Emulator II !!

A great (and unexpected) mix of useful utility and classic game carts.

Mega thanks, OX :-D

I could actually use another one of those cases to add 32K to Turtles' portable TI system. He had an electronic day at school today--and asked me if it was OK to take one of the TI consoles to hook up to the TV in his classroom for the day. . .so I put a new keyboard onto the console we were given at the Chicago Faire this year (the original keyboard was one of the Mitsumi nightmares that only had half of the keys working, but the machine was in perfect condition otherwise--many thanks to Vorticon for passing it on to Turtles at the end of the day). He then put on his TI shirt from OLD CS1 and took a backpack full of TI stuff to school. Yes, TIs still show up in schools with computer-savvy children in 2018! :) :) :) :)

That said, if no one else speaks for the case, I'll take it, Omega.
