So when I hooked my son up with his "new" TI, I gave him my Magnavox flatscreen tv/monitor. That left me without a monitor for my TI temporarily. I started looking for a nice 15-17" flatscreen of the same ilk on craigslist, and found a few I considered buying.

In the meantime, I grabbed my Toshiba 14AF42 FST PURE flat CRT from my NES setup and put it on top of my PBox. Let me tell you something, the color, sharpness, and definition on this thing blows away that crappy flatscreen I had before---and I thought it was the bees knees. Holy cow, the difference is insane! No ghosting of letters when programming, no lag when gaming.... I mean it is really sharp! The ol' switcheroo is sometimes a nice little surprise.

I still need another tv, but that will go to my NES system.... my TI has a new permanent monitor, and I love the way it looks!

((Disclaimer--this is a stock photo, not my cat---my cat would kick this cat's ass))

The dimensions of this work seem out of any realistic proportion.

That cat looks like it could easily topple that monitor!

I'd have to "see your cat" to believe it!

These pictures are misleading. Each of my cats is 4 feet tall and each weighs 100 pounds.

Mustard & Snarf look like they could prevail...
in a doe attack, anyway...
Your T.I. looks, souped...
But seems to be missing a few wires compared to mine.

Spoiler

Before I installed this tiny monitor... The T.V. I used was in an uncomfortable viewing position. So I would just type blindly... recalling the various screens from memory and observing the display matrix changes.

Hmmmmm, thinking back to the old Snarf Quest comic strip, Snarf tended to get himself into a lot of trouble. . . .
