Inty Synthesizer - Any Photos Of The Inside?

Recommended Posts

Hello, everyone!

I know the Inty II Synth is kind of a niche thing. I have one, and really love it. However, it's a bit laggy and while each of the keys plays, they sometimes don't make a 100% good connection. This causes the notes to stutter on and off from time-to-time. I bought it boxed, and it's a beauty, but I'm sure decades of crud have made their way in there.

Are there any pics of the inside of the synth someone can share? I suspect I'll have to open the synth and clean contacts to improve the note performance reliability. I'd like to know what's in there before I open it.

Also, if you've ever opened one, are there any surprises waiting? You know, things like springs that will fall out when you take off the casing, plastics that might fall off, that sort of thing. I'm more than willing to get this thing cleaned up properly, but don't want to make things worse from ignorance.

Thanks for any and all help! I'll be sure to post pics here in detail after I get it cleaned up inside so they will be out there for future reference.

One minor thing - it's not a synthesizer, it's just a keyboard. It just sends a "key is being pressed" signal for each key. The exact same signal as the alphanumeric keyboard, even. (The ECS doesn't even know which one you have plugged in - you can play music by pressing keys on the alpha keyboard.
