ubersaurus
I was looking through an old issue of the 2600 Connection fanzine (issue 4, specifically), and one of the letters they received was asking about 7800 coverage; the authors directed the letter writer to a 7800 Update newsletter out of Illinois. Is this something anyone has heard of? Do any copies still exist? Contemporary coverage of the 7800 is so rare, I'd love to be able to check out any surviving materials from the fans at the time. +save2600
Never heard of it, but like you - would love to see what it was all about!
+groundtrooper
Man, I must have skimmed right over that letter. It would be very cool to have some more info on this newsletter or if someone had a few old copies laying around.
+groundtrooper
A quick google of the mailing address and I found this. https://github.com/cloudsriseup/Hacker_EZines/blob/master/ZNET/0052.txt Looks like they made a lot of different "Fan Zines" and also distributed some of the later one via BBS.
