Best Game Hack:

 

Any hack completed during the year. Hacks completed in a previous year are not eligible. Re-releases or updates to previous versions the same hack are ineligible. Demos are not eligible for this category and are only eligible in their specific category.

Stargate desert raid:

fuel -> heaps of naquadah (a mineral that drives alien technology)
plane -> winger glider
ship -> mastadge (beast of burden)
helicopter -> ONells marines
enemy plane -> spears
bridge -> giant tent
side home & tree -> pyramids
river -> desert:)

Scott Dayton has a lot of great hacks nominated here. I chose Alf because it has some nice looking sprites and it's a lot of fun to play. I also liked the Moon Patrol hack and the Stargate (River Raid) hack.
