Metal Slug main character test on C64 --> port to A8

so check out this demo.

 

in theory to port this into A8, what would you do:

- use HW sprites?

- seems impossible since the char looks hi-res to me and has 3 colors (hair, body lines, outfit) , also width seems much more than 8 pixels.

 

- use Software sprites?

- a good possibility , char is relatively big, rendering it on screen and animate it (especially over background) will require hi cpu

 

 

thoughts?
