A week or so ago I noticed an etsy seller selling 3D-printed cartridge holders for a variety of systems, including the Jag.  At any given moment, I might have a half-dozen carts sitting loose next to the Jaguar on my coffee table, so I thought this might be a great idea.

I ordered one and when I get it, I'll post a little review...

Nice!! Looks slick. I generally prefer UGCs for storage but for half a dozen games that are "one deck" to be played I really like this idea.

Now that i have a 3D printer, I've been looking around for various Atari related projects, but not everyone uploads their designs to Thingiverse.  I did snag the 5200 dual controller print from there, and it works pretty well (Robotron 2084 and Space Dungeon are SO much better with two controllers like this)

It's a nice idea.
If the cart were vertical, with enough of a gap to see the labels I'd be very interested.

You can't remember 6 carts?

If you look on thingiverse you can find the .stl files to print it yourself.  I don't have access to a 3D-printer so I figured I might as well buy it from this guy.

I was about to say the same thing.  I bought my Dad a 3D printer for Christmas and downloaded an .stl file for one.  (probably the same one lol)

So did you print one, and if so, what do you think of it?  Is it sized well for the carts, etc?

Here's a great cart holder for Checkered Flag, Club Drive and WMCJ carts:

Had these a few years ago. Don't know if they're still available.

Edit:

Looks like there's 2 atm.

So far I haven't tried it.  I was thinking of printing one out tomorrow on my day off.  I've been curious about it though.

So I loaded my jaguar cart holder stl file into Cura, and sliced it ready for printing.  Due to the size limitations of the printer I have.  The data file can only be printed on its side and placed diagonally on the build plate.  My build plate specs are 210x210x205mm.  The holder is just ever so barely too large for my build plate. Total print time would be about 31 hours for my printer.

I miss having a working 3D printer at times.  Then I read things like "print time 31 hours" and realize, no, I really don't miss it.

I printed that one from thingiverse. It took a day, got warped in the process and now sits sadly on my desk collecting dust :)

So, like 99% of everything 3D printed then? :D

Hah! I beg to differ :) I also have a gotek holder i designed/remixed in the MSTE. It would be pretty if I could get the correct color filament, now it's just - white.
