ziggystar
Are there any 5200 games that have sprites that are drawn like the 2600 sprites where every scanline has a different color? It's like a multicolor sprite for instance in 2600 Double Dragon. I can't find any examples in the 5200 world. I'm trying to make some colorful sprites without using all 4 sprites for one character. Multiplexing Might be an option as well.

ziggystar
Ahh I see HERO does it. I need to figure out how that can work on the 5200.
+Cafeman
My guess is to use either dynamic DLIs, or make your own 2600 style kernel, thus bypassing the Display List and interrupts feature that 5200 gives you. I've thought about using one of these 2 methods myself, but never implemented either approach. I wonder if there is a 2600 kernel freely available for you to use and modify?
