Swami
On regular MAME64, when I would add a new arcade game (or an game), I would just open the program and it would be in the list of games. On MAME UI64, it seems I have to do this file refresh that takes like 10 minutes every time I add a new game to get it to show up in the list. Is there some way around this? NE146
Not that I know of.. Do you add single games pretty often? Might as well make a sandwich during that time I guess.
mr_me
Which filter are you using in the left pane? If you are using the "available" filter it won't be in the list until it has been found. If you use the "all games" filter or most of the other filters they all show, even ones you don't have.

I seem to be downloading a game or two a week. Just seems like a down-grade. Basically, 50 times worse than the ColecoVision 15-sec pause. JFD62780
My suggestion? Surf to the entry you're trying to add, choose Properties, and open the Audit tab. If it passes, you (hopefully) won't have to refresh; simply close and open the program up again!

That does work. Thanks.
