Cutting right to the point. I'll buy one right now if one can be made available.

Heck, I'll even take the schematic of the PCB; just tell me what components I'll need and I'll make the board myself.

I'm converting all my consoles to component-out, and I badly want this mod. I'd go with the F18A mod, but that only means more money and the need to convert VGA to component needlessly. Thanks!

i think its your best choice.... if you dont go to f18a.. cause if i remember right the ypbpr kit you want had color problem with black looking blue..

i think its your best choice.... if you dont go to f18a.. cause if i remember right the ypbpr kit you want had color problem with black looking blue..

 

 

But aren't those links to RGB boards and not component?

yes but he is modding all his console so he s probably looking for a good picture and there is not a lot of option for the coleco...

Why not wait and buy the Collectorvision Phoenix which will have hdmi hook up ?

You could try this project, but you'd have to do some schematic culling to remove the component to RGB converter stage.  It's pretty well labeled and organized though.

Yes it says "PAL", but looking at the circuit, it ought to work on NTSC too.

Actually, even better, that project lets you switch between RGB and YPbPr output anyway.

This looks promising, but fortunately an AA user has already reached out to me to sell his spare 5-11under mod.

Now to research if/how the "blue blacks" bug can be fixed....
