No paddles sucks I don't recall off the top of my head precisely how, but you can configure Stella to use your mouse in lieu of paddles, if you like that option better than a keyboard. I spent far too long trying to fix one today. With breaking the two soldered leads and having to deal with my negative value soldering skills and then after finally getting it all back together the damn thing is still jittery. Use the 'Options' button, then the 'Input Settings' button, then the 'Devices & Ports' tab. My settings are in the attached picture. . I tried the actual cartridge and the Harmony Encore on both of my Atari 2600's. The initial screen shows up but then it won't do anything. Never mind! I tried the right port (Thanks Jason) and the game works. I thought I had already tried the right port but I guess I only checked one paddle.
