Mybe because I never owned a 600XL that I hadn't heard of an Atari 1064, according to what I've read it's

a Parallel Port interface that also gives the 600XL an extra 64K of memory.

I found out about this due to an ebay listing as one of the items.

I've used Atari Computers since the early 80's and it still amazes me that I still seem to know so little :) but happy to keep learning

2x 1064 to turn something Iike a 130XE I think have read it in another thread that isn't possible/will not work though here back then haven't seen one nor anyone with it (even I don't remember of a single 600XL at the stores)...

P.s.- Also 1x 1064 on an 800XL also doesn't do nothing, right?

My introduction to the Atari 8-bit line was a friend’s 600XL with the 1064 expansion. I thought it ruined the aesthetics of the computer (which is why I bought an 800XL later).

I got a 600XL a couple years back and performed the internal RAM upgrade some months back. The 600XL has new found appeal for me now. ;)

I think it looks sexy the sub 600XL getting rammed doggy style with the expansion pack

:)
