do sometimes roms stop working?

i swear ive had to re-load some roms, the latest being "road runner".....do they sometimes just stop working in stella or harmony?  i swear this is happening, i just cant prove it..........

Maybe, if you have a bad storage medium.

I've had that happen with NES roms on the retropie. Probably file corruption.

ROMs shouldn't go bad, and having them go bad with harmony or stella isn't a common experience.

They can go bad, for the reasons the others have responded with.

(Also, if your locks aren't good, sometimes Random Terrain will sneak into your house and corrupt your ROMs, after he gets bored trying on your underwear)

well i have a harmony cart and standard size SD that came w/ it......ive loaded and reladed my game pack maybe 100 times in the past 4 months as Ive perfected my game list...
