Omega-TI Posted April 3, 2019 Share Posted April 3, 2019 (edited) Under the heading of WHY NOT, I'm truly surprised there is not an online compiler for TI Extended BASIC programs yet. You know, cut & paste, then download the finished product all in one step. ** EDIT ** ... and maybe a second button to turn it into a .BIN for the FlashROM or FinalGROM as well. Everyone, even newbies could make their own programs or utilities without asking others for help and or assistance. I imagine that would encourage a resurgence in programming. I imagine you would paste in the XB code, and the app would remote control the compiler and spit out a file at the end. Would anyone be interested in using such a thing? Omega-TI Posted April 4, 2019 Author Share Posted April 4, 2019 TI programs are small, so upload times at standard speeds seem almost instantaneous, so if the processing (at the website) is FASTER that using a TI it would come in real handy, especially when testing multiple revisions. What I envisioned would be.. 1) The user UPLOADS an Extended BASIC program, or does a cut & paste like the TIPI uses... 2) On the other end the software automatically converts the uploaded file into E/A 5 & BIN versions, puts into a ZIP and automatically returns it to the user.
