I had to do some acrobatics to get the vibrato to sound okay, and even then I had to omit it from the high notes because it just sounded too aggressive. This would be great to do on high notes, while the low notes still do regular vibrato. Nice to read. The thing is that POKEY is really "hardwired" to physics. If you do the tremolo that way, to have it swaying a little above and below the according voice's volume, the recognized pitch also changes a little.
