SS Posted May 14, 2019 Share Posted May 14, 2019 (apologies if you saw this cross-posted on FB too) I am apparently doing something wrong. I am attempting to do an audio mod on my 600XL. I removed the RF modulator, and used pin #s 1 & 2 from it to connect to a 3.3mm audio jack. Red and yellow wires both soldered to pin #2 to connect to right and left audio, blue wire connected to pin #1 for grounding. My soldering is a little sloppy but, still, it seems like everything should be connected right. However, I am getting no audio output. SOPHIA video is great but no audio whatsoever. I cannot figure out where my problem lies. Can anyone offer some suggestions as to where I might have gone wrong? Thanks. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mr Robot Posted May 14, 2019 Share Posted May 14, 2019 Shouldn't the blue wire be soldered to a nearby GND point? I don't know what that point you have it soldered to is, but it doesn't look like a ground pin. Just solder it to one of the tabs that used to hold the modulator box.
