+wongojack
So . . . I don't love posts with just a video link and no info. I realize there is a variety of opinions on this, but I decided to nuance this thread a bit. I didn't watch the video, but I grabbed this screen cap. Looks like the stick is on the right? And an attempt at an analog paddle wheel which is interesting. Here's the video description: First Look! This is new controller that combines paddle and joysticks compatibility into one. This is the prototype of the controller and is not released yet. The Ranger works with the Atari 2600, Retron 77, as well as the Atari 7800. In this video I test out the functionality of the controller on. I guess if you absolutely MUST play Atari with a gamepad and can't be bothered to investigate the existing options, this is good. I might pick this up if I see it somewhere for sale at retail at the right price . . . needs another button for the 7800.
