+OLD CS1
I have a 130XE and a (dead) 800XL. Is there anything particularly compelling about the 600XL which should make me want one?
Paul Westphal
Not if you have a working 130XE. However, upgraded, they have the smallest footprint of any 64k machine and ALL 600xl's are socketed, meaning easy repairs if they need them. If your 800xl is made in Hong Kong, it's socketed too Edited May 17, 2019 by Paul Westphal

+OLD CS1
Thanks. I saw your post for the 800XLs, as well. I will juggle the idea of replacing my dead 800XL.
Jinroh
Im with you there. My 800XL is not booting but thanks to Paul I see is Hong Kong. IIRC the last tests I ran indicated faulty RAM? Its been a while.
