Tempest Posted July 15, 2003 Share Posted July 15, 2003 My main 8-bit gaming machine a modded 1200XL which really rocks, but it has one problem. Due to the funky cartridge slot some games don't fit! I've been told that you can use a R-Time 8 or Sparta DOS cart as a pass through device for playing games, but I haven't seen one of those on ebay in a long time (I've been watching). So I was wondering if anyone knows of another solution to my problem (and don't say get a new system)? How hard would it be to make a simple adapter or pass through cart? It's easy, for beginners To make pass thru, you would need the board with all connections and a connector. You won't buy it anywhere, but I think you can cannibalize it from dead 800XL.
