Christophero Sly
The manual for the 800 version of "Pac-Man" refers to all of the monsters as goblins -- not ghosts. Is this the only version of the game that describes inky, blinky, pinky, and clyde in this fashion? No. I just checked the TI-99/4A manual and it refers to them as 'Goblins' as well. It's also interesting to note that the front cover illustration on the TI manual is that of the 2600 version of Pac-Man, with the pink ghosts(goblins) and 'wafers'. Strange that Atarisoft would use this illustration because TI Pac-Man is a fairly faithful arcade port. Probably a question of costs.
