+davidcalgary29
Nir Dary advises that he bought a shipment of 8-bit carts from someone in Reno, NV a few years ago. The shipment apparently contained cartridges of both "Mr. Do!'s Castle" and "Montezuma's Revenge" -- both bearing the trademark small white labels of this mysterious cart run. Does anyone else have a "Montezuma's Revenge" with a white label?
Callipygous
Does "Montezuma's Revenge" have a graphic label like "Mr. Do!'s Castle"?
+davidcalgary29
I assumed that to be the case from Nir's message. I'll have to ask him to clarify, though. He removed labels that did appear on both carts (argh!) and created spiffy new ones in their place. I'll ask him to post pics on this site. +davidcalgary29
Nir advises that the Montezuma's Revenge cart did not have a label. It's difficult to tell whether or not that might have been a lab-loaner.
video game addict
Has he opened it up? Assuming he has a EPROM version of this game, wouldn't there be some info possibly on the label/s covering the window?

Assuming he has a EPROM version of this game, wouldn't there be some info possibly on the label/s covering the window? Perhaps he didn't want to crack open the cart. As you know, it's really difficult to open up a PB cart without destroying it. I'll ask him about this, though.
Callipygous
Sounds like a proto. IIRC, a cart proto is known to exist.
