Elllleeott!
For those who don't know, Trogdor (from homestarrunner.com) is a dragon with a beefy arm coming out of the back of his neck...and he RULES! He also has his very own videogame, which I think would make for an excellent 2600 translation. Check out the game below: http://www.homestarrunner.com/trogdor.html I would sure love to "Burninate" the countryside on my 2600.

christianscott
i think it would work better on the colecovision or 5200 myself, i even sent the bros. chap an email saying as much. i presume strongmad ate it before they had a chancce to respond...would be awesome though. MegaManFan
I think Strong Mad is eating all their e-mail, because SB hasn't responded to any in weeks.
Mr.FoodMonster
3+ to be exact
Elllleeott!
I guess the game would look more like the original on the 5200, but I would still like to see a 2600 version. One because I cant find a pair of decent 5200 controllers, and two, the 2600 is my favorite . I dont think the game is too complicated for the 2600, and I think most people would agree, that you wont find better controllers than those of the Atari 2600. Perhaps if Mr. Slocum's HSR RPG is successful, which I'm sure it will be, he would consider "TROGDOR!" for a later project (hint hint...if you are reading this Mr. Slocum )
Brad2600
I think Strong Mad is eating all their e-mail, because SB hasn't responded to any in weeks. So there's a Strong Bad, Strong Mad and Strong Sad? I'm confused...LOL
misterx
Yep, Strong Bad is the guy wearing the freaky boxing mask, Strong Mad is the guy who's shoulbers look... Blocky and Strong Sad is the gray guy BTW, i myself would really like to see Trogdor on the 2600! BURNINATE!!
Elllleeott!
The game is really simple, and a bit silly, but theres something really addictive about it...especially when you get to burninate the village and see the peasants running around with their heads on fire! Playing it on the greatest video game system ever made would make it even better!
Godzilla
as long as it had the voice (hint hint) :-)
Godzilla
as long as it had the voice (hint hint) :-) they need to get cinderella to do the theme song TROGDOR!
inextremis staple
The Pac-man esque cut scenes are very Atari. And man, that game is tough shnizzits. I think I've only made it to level 7. Maybe Paul might be able to squeeze it in as a mini game? I have no idea if he could or not but it'd be rad as a mini game. And hey! what about a real 2600 duck pond simulator??? That'd be bitchin'. is
raindog
heh, what with all the HSR talk I saw your Eagle Scout logo out of the corner of my eye and thought it was a black and white Strongbad...
Robert M
Nice game. Anyone else stumble across huts you could enter and collect bags of gold. I had this happen once on level 7, but never since.
AtariDude
I didn't play the game for too long but it seems like it would be fun in small stretches. Granted I think it would be better as a 5200 game but I don't see any reason why there could not be a 2600 version of the game.
K.Michael
Haha well this is super digging, I was about to make a post asking if anyone had ported 'Trogdor' or any other Homestar Runner game to the 2600, but a quick google search told me this had already been posted.... 11 years ago! (which is back when I used to actually watch Homestar Runner daily! Does anyone know if there is any 2600 ports of HsR games? I think Trogdor was supposed to be an 'arcade game' (or atleast made in the style) so a version with lessened graphics/sound would be pretty suiting, and I think Rhino Feeder (http://homestarrunner.com/rhinofeeder.html) is probably making reference to the 5200 or the NES, but gameplay wise could easily work Edit: Oh yeah, and Secret Collect is clearly a reference to the 2600! http://homestarrunner.com/games.html Edited December 23, 2014 by K.Michael
