Albert
For those budding Atari 2600 programmers looking for inspiration, we've just added the source code to Manuel Polik's Gunfight to our 2600 Archives section. Gunfight is Manuel Polik's first 2600 game, and was heavily inspired by the 1975 Midway arcade game Gun Fight. The source code provides valuable insight into what it takes to code a successful Atari 2600 homebrew game. Both NTSC and PAL versions can be generated with a compile switch, and the DASM, XASM, and TASM assemblers are all supported. You can download the source code here.
