doncleth
Hi guys, Is it possible to use a 1050 Disk Drive bought from the US and used in Australia? Is there any difference apart from the power supply? I assume the NTSC/PAL issue only applies to the computers. What is the power supply and requirement for the 1050? Any help is appreciated. Cheers, Don
Nukey Shay
It's the same as the computer...9 volts. I believe that only the power adapter would need to be switched to one that operates on your current.
doncleth
Thanks Nukey Shay. What sort of plug does the Drive have? Is it one that can easily be found at electronic shops? TIA. Don
Nukey Shay
It uses a barrel-shaped plug. But the problem with using generic adapters is that you might have a problem finding one that emits the correct number of amps (at least 1.7)
