But was curious what one I should get? I used to own a Lynx 2, but have seen some pics of the lynx one ( which I think looks great ).. but what's the differences between the two? what do you recomend? Atari-Jess Posted January 14, 2002 Share Posted January 14, 2002 alright model 1 looks chunky and cheap the 2 model looks more sleek and durable model 1 drains batteries heavilly model 2 is more battery conservative model 1 you have to wait for the screen to turn off model 2 you can turn it off when ever you want to. model 1 is older and the screen quality isn't as good as model 2 model 2 was built better and is newer model 1 has an odd colour model 2 has a cooler darker black Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyone up there? you guys have ALL forgotten the best improvement of the Lynx2 over the first; 2 has STEREO output in the headphone jack, 1 is mono!!! A LOT of Lynx games are in glorious stereo that you don't get to here with the model one, I have both, for collectors purposes, but 2 is definately better to me if for only that reason.
