Okay...well I will actually try and take a stab at this one.

APB - All Point Bulletin. Basically a cops chasing game. I haven't played the Lynx version but the Arcade version plays kinda like Spy Hunter...in that it is a top down view racer type. But in APB you have to track down and get the criminals while doging stuff in the road.

Slimeworld - Todd's Adventures in Slimeworld. This game is a 2D platformer through and through. Basically you play the role of Todd and go spelunking in the slime caves. You have a basic blaster to shoot enemies with...sometimes you have grenades if I remember correctly. And you have a Jetpack for flying around. Slimeworld I have played on the lynx...and to put it simply...it is one of my top wants for my actual Lynx.

I recommend that if you really wish to choose between them. Get ahold of the Lynx emulator known as Handy and then try and locate some Lynx roms of the two games you mentioned. This way you can play them both and get an idea for which you would rather have. In the end you may find you want them both...hehehe...

Personally, the Lynx version of APB just didn't turn out very well. The graphics are too small, the game is too fast and it quickly becomes frustrating figuring out what to do next. The game has some great voice and sound, though!

Slime world is ok. Nothing groundbreaking, but its a solid 2D exploration game, sort of in the spirit of Metroid and Kid Icarus on the NES. If it was my choice, I'd go with Slimeworld.

I'm just the opposite here; I prefer APB and think Slimeworld is just another run of the mill platformer (except that you can link with friends). Yes, APB's graphics on the Lynx look like they could have easily been done on the C64 or Atari 800, but it's still a rockin' game and an instant classic in my opinion. So if you take everyone's advice, I guess you'll have to get both!
