Malix
My post has a few questions that I am sure have been asked before but I have not been on this part of the board ever. First off I collect for the 2600 and have a ton of other systems and games but know absolutely nothing about the jag. I would be interested in getting one but would like to know: a) What is a fair price to pay for one b) What is there availability c) How much and how many good games are there. Note: I would be buying this strictly for playing, not collecting.
Gunstar
If your talking about the unit alone with it's connections, about $20-25 dollars (or less) is the average on e-bay. Plenty of them are available through online retailers and E-bay. It has about 65 games for it, about a dozen of which were instant classics, about half the games are very good, with about 10-12 real duds, the rest are okay. It is a really fun system with lots of the good old Atari fun factor and playability, even if it's just a sixteen bit port or a 64-bit original. As long as you stay away from Checkered flag, club drive, Double Dragon 5, Super cross 3D and a couple others that are disputable, you'll be all right and never regret getting this neoclassic system. A Jagcd is a must eventually too, if you don't want to miss out on some of the best games...
