emkay
I am not seeing video. But I am hearing music. Am I missing a codec? Just download and install the newest DivX Codec http://www.divx.com/ I think it will help
+Sauron
Hehe, that was pretty cool! Too bad I've never seen half of those games before...
oesii
Yep that was cool, I can ID almost every game except that first one, looks like a classic I should know but I have no memory of its name. The one with the Zorro character and the two-story building? edit: watching it again, it looks a lot like a Zorro game, maybe I just don't know the name
Mindfield
Yep that was cool, I can ID almost every game except that first one, looks like a classic I should know but I have no memory of its name. The one with the Zorro character and the two-story building? edit: watching it again, it looks a lot like a Zorro game, maybe I just don't know the name That would be (of all things) "Zorro." Very cool video. From what I can identify, the games are: 1) Zorro 2) Tapper 3) Alley Cat 4) Spy Hunter 5) Boulder Dash 6) River Raid 7) Leaderboard Golf World Championship Karate 9) Pac Man 10) Montezuma's Revenge 11) Pitfall II: Lost Caverns 12) Black Lamp? 13) Bruce Lee 14) Not sure 'bout this one 15) Quick flashes of something (Bert's Brew Biz?), Blue Max, Frogger, some game starring "Henry," Rampage, a Polish game called "Mission?", Keystone Kapers, The Last Starfighter, some game with a train in it, H.E.R.O., Rescue on Fractalus/Behind Jaggi Lines, Dig Dug, Jungle Hunt, Choplifter, Spy vs. Spy, another two games I don't recognize, Berzerk, Frogs & Flies, Moon Patrol, New York City, yet another two games I don't recognize but looks like I should, Pole Position, Spy vs. Spy 2: Arctic Antics 16) Spy vs. Spy again 17) Dunno what this end one is about. oesii
ah, that kind of makes sense Just never ran into that game, which is weird because I was a big Zorro fan when I was a kid.
Mindfield
ah, that kind of makes sense Just never ran into that game, which is weird because I was a big Zorro fan when I was a kid. I think it was put out by EA. I seem to recall it was part of a series of similar type games that EA released around the same time -- Goonies and Conan to be specific. oesii
Thanks for the info., looks like a very good game for sword freaks I've been playing it for the last few minutes after downloading it, looks like it's a Datasoft game, at least the version I grabbed which is identical to the screen in the video. zorro.zip
Mindfield
Actually I think you're right, now that you mention it. That rings a few more bells, at any rate.
Dracon
Yep that was cool, I can ID almost every game I'm really surprised - it's great you can identify so many games from there. except that first one, looks like a classic I should know but I have no memory of its name. It's not a game, it's real. Isn't it a well-known SELF-TEST screen ?? Yes, it is! Very cool video. From what I can identify, the games are:14) Not sure 'bout this one It's famous ZYBEX for sure!!! 15) Quick flashes of something (...) yet another two games I don't recognize but looks like I should, you should certainly. One of them (second) is called "ALCHEMIA" (great Polish maze game). 17) Dunno what this end one is about. This is the end sequence from another Polish game - "ROBBO". I think it nicely fits the rest and successfully finishes this mega-movie...
Bryan
Did you guys know that the self-test music is actually from Promenade, the first part of Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition"? -Bry promenade.zip
