Bryan
My current configuration: Atari 800XL (Super Video, 256K Rambo) Teknika MJ-10 Monitor (Chroma/Luma) Atari XF551 (stock) Atari 1050 (stock...for now) SIO2PC interface with custom drive disable switch. At one time I had a much more elaborate configuration with an MIO and hard drives and whatnot, but SIO2PC pretty much replaced all that mess. I also keep an 800XL with a PAL Antic around for running 50Hz programs. -Bry

oesii
I have a 130XE with a 30 in 1 Soft OS Mod (beta ), has WarpOS, MyIDE, all the Atari OS's, Omniview, and like 20 other OS's I need to explore Then a bunch of carts and a DSR Sio2pc setup. I also have a 410 Tape Drive handy when I want to play with the language tapes. I haven't had a real disk drive in 10 years. I also have a 800xl and sio2pc setup that I need to find a desk setup for and then I'll probably try the SuperVideo mod on it. I posted a pic of my 130xe and 1040st in a ST thread. And yes that is Castle Crisis on top of the 130, I had to take it out to play with some other files for a bit

DEBRO
Nothing fancy for me... 800XL (stock) Atari 1050 (stock) SIO2PC and a TV It's not set up all the time. I only pull it out periodically since I don't have a regular space for it I also keep an 800XL with a PAL Antic around for running 50Hz programs. Is this a separate 800XL or is the PAL ANTIC installed with the NTSC ANTIC?

Different machine, although it only has 64K of RAM which keeps it from running the coolest PAL stuff anyway. -Bry
+Sauron
I just have a stock 800XL connected to my PC via SIO2PC. I also have 3 1050 disk drives, but two of them are out of order, and the other one isn't hooked up. My 800XL is actually sitting on the "keyboard" shelf of my PC's computer desk, and is currently sharing a Commodore 1702 monitor with my Falcon. I'd like to eventually upgrade it to at least 256kb, or possibly get a PAL system with the memory upgrade in place. Just call me a sucker for Euro-demos. Bryan
Posting this got me to upgrade my 1050. Now I have a US Doubler. The funny thing is that the 1050 always had the hardware to do true double density, but Atari wouldn't splurge for an extra 128 bytes of RAM to hold a DD sector. The 1050 is built much like a 2600 with a 6507 and a 6532 RIOT PIA. -Bry
ApolloBoy
The 1050 is built much like a 2600 with a 6507 and a 6532 RIOT PIA. Wow! I wonder if it's possible to convert a 1050 into a 2600...
Gregory DG
Well, my setup is in the closet waiting for the day when I show it to my kid... I have an 800XL, a 400 w/full stroke keyboard (given to me!), and XEGS (given to me by the same person!), a 410 program recorder, an XM301 modem (can't find the guts though) a 1050 floppy... That's it I guess. Still can't believe my friend gave me his XEGS (with gun, keyboard, and Bounty Bob Strikes Back!)
Albert
The funny thing is that the 1050 always had the hardware to do true double density, but Atari wouldn't splurge for an extra 128 bytes of RAM to hold a DD sector. Ack, that's horrible. I wonder how much this would have cost them back then. No wonder double-density mods were so easy to do. I can't believe they'd cripple the drives for that reason alone. The 1050 is built much like a 2600 with a 6507 and a 6532 RIOT PIA. I didn't know they actually have a 6507, interesting. ..Al

geosteve
130XE stock 1050 with DOS III and DOS 2.5 --- I also have a version (somewhere) that I swear is called DOS 2.0T that supported enhanced density and has sectors tests, sector-by-sector copying, and a lot of other options that even 2.5 doesn't. XF551 with DOS XE OkiMate 10 (color thermal printer) with disk software Trak-Ball CX22 Koala Pad with cart SIO to parallel cable (X-Former for the ST, to upload programs) lots of disks including commercial games, PD, demos, free/shareware, magazine type-in programs and more
Goochman
Can you still get cartidges for your Okimate 10? I had one of those and loved it but it could chew up color carts like crazy and they were very expensive.
