Bob Bytchin
There are versions of emulators for playing over a network/internet. They have them for the SNES, MAME, and others...so would it be feasable or possible to create a 2600 version allowing two people to play 2600 games over a network/internet? Imagine a website like AtariAge sponsoring 2600 game tournaments. That would add an interesting twist to things, and certainly would prove who has the real bragging rights when it comes to classic games. ascetic
There was one, called something like Mace or something(I could be way off)... Never worked for me and was really crappy i heard. Never even heard about it till one day I stumbled on the website. But someone does need to create one... just for 2600 boxing
Mindfield
Considering the current Killera craze, I can't see it being that difficult or far off to see it appear in a C++-based A2600 emulator. Give it time and we may see, say, z26 or Stella released with Killera integration for netplay. (I doubt we'll see it for PCAE -- unless Killera gets ported to Delphi)
Wntermute
I know that MESS has partial A2600 support. I was just reading a post on their message board earlier about integrating netplay features. http://mess.emuverse.com
