It was good for backing up carts to disk, but you needed the supercart to play them from the disk You also needed an 800 because it went into the right cartridge slot. Nukey Shay Posted March 9, 2004 Share Posted March 9, 2004 Umm...I don't think you do. Read the top of the cart. I used just a dummy cart - a pcb with no rom memory. Load up the disk containing a cartridge dump, then slip it into the cartridge slot to fool the computer that the actual cartridge is inserted...keeping memory from being altered. I imagine that the on-off switch does the same thing (load the binary, then flip the toggle to write-protect). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
