Hi everyone. My name is Tony, and I'm just starting out in the Atari collecting. I was into BEANIE BABIES, but it got to be a bad hobbie!!!!!! I had a 2600 when I was younger, but my house burnt, and the 2600 and all my carts went up in smoke. Enought of this yaking, on to my question : I found a 2600 at a flea market, but I can't get it to play. Does anyone know of a place that works on them???????????????

Thanks,

Tony

Check the 3/4 switch. A have gotten several "parts only" consoles that had channel 4 selected. If you get anything at all when you turn the unit on, it's the 3/4 switch. 4 switch units have it on the back near the difficulty switches. 6 switch consoles have it tucked up inside, you get at it from underneath with a screwdriver or spoon handle.
