godsey1
Hi everyone. My name is Tony, and I'm just starting out in the Atari collecting. I was into BEANIE BABIES, but it got to be a bad hobbie!!!!!! I had a 2600 when I was younger, but my house burnt, and the 2600 and all my carts went up in smoke. Enought of this yaking, on to my question : I found a 2600 at a flea market, but I can't get it to play. Does anyone know of a place that works on them??????????????? Thanks, Tony [ 06-12-2001: Message edited by: godsey1 ]

garyp
Could be the power supply, they're usually the first things to go!
godsey1
Thanks garyp, I'll take it to the Radio Shack and have them to test it. I do thank you. Tony
Malathion5
Check the 3/4 switch. A have gotten several "parts only" consoles that had channel 4 selected. If you get anything at all when you turn the unit on, it's the 3/4 switch. 4 switch units have it on the back near the difficulty switches. 6 switch consoles have it tucked up inside, you get at it from underneath with a screwdriver or spoon handle. godsey1
Thanks Steve, I'll try that tomorrow, after I check the power supply. Tony

Joel D. Park
Hey I was just scanning Ebay, I saw an Atari (Black Darth Vader Style) with a buy it now price of 8.00. It was only the console with no cords or anything, but it might work for you. I can't seem to find it again, but I'm sure the buy it now was list 8.00.
