pumbaaj
I have a game that plays the song, "Turkey in the Straw", in the background. It's PAL and called "Cracker Pet". Is there a US version of this? What's it called?? Wes
Scott Stilphen
While we're on the subject of children's songs... Al Backiel put together a list of all the known songs that are included in Grover's Music Machine, but the list is incomplete (and unverified). Here's his list - can anyone offer the missing info? A - Old McDonald Had a Farm B - Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star C - Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush D - Over the River and Through the Woods E - Hush Little Baby F - The Itsy Bitsy Spider G - ? H - Skip to My Lou I - Three Blind Mice J - Hickory Dickory Dock K - Do You Know the Muffin Man? L - A Tisket, A Tasket M - ? N - ? O - I'm a Little Teapot P - ? Q - This Old Man R - The Farmer in the Dell S - ? T - ? Pretty amazing that the programmer(s) managed to include so many songs!
mr johnson
I remember that there were some childrens songs in tapper. the first time you were going through they had "I come from alabama with a banjo on my knee"
Scott Stilphen
Some updated info from Al, G= My Hat Has Three Corners Al verified this one as well. M= Go Tell Aunt Rhodie R= ? Unknown. Al also agrees that it isn't Farmer In The Dell. That would leave N/P/R/S/T
Tempest
I'll have to go download Grover and see if I can solve some of this mystery. I'm pretty good at playing name that tune (plus I think I played every childerns song when I was learning to play the Trombone). So what happens past T? I'm guessing they didn't get that far. Scott Stilphen
There aren't any more selections after "T". Guess having one for every letter of the alphabet was asking too much

Albert
You know, this would make a neat little feature here on AtariAge. We could have a page that lists all the tunes, with the title of each tune being a link to an MP3 that was recorded from the game. Anyone feel up to the task of recording all the tunes? I'll put it on our "To Do" list, although it may be a while before either Alex or myself could get to it. So if someone can provide us with the music, we can whip together a page pretty quickly. Then we can put that page in the 2600 Archives section, as well as link it from Grover's Music Machine. ..Al
