Doesn't look genuine but I think it shouldn't, should it?  ;)

Is that seller a member of AA? He has a game I'm interested in but wants double what I offered.
Just have to wait and see now what reseller ends up buying his stuff and see what their price is.

A Master Builder in very poor shape, somehow untested when the seller has been buying a bunch of games
the last few months. :ponder:

try not to bid against him, he'll just keep making bids making you pay more for something.

I looked at the seller's other auctions. Some of them said tested and working. IMO untested means not working in this case.

Looks like a #10/60 Cubicolor has been put up for sale. It appears that this is the original release as the photos I have seen of the other #10 Cubicolor appear to be the second release version. It will be interesting to see how high this goes.

Looks different than mine does.  Mine doesn't have the white sticker covering the 'Cubicolor' sticker underneath.  I also don't see the signed letter from Rob Fulop included that mine has.  Makes me wonder about authenticity?

You would have to try to find provenance, the last registered owner of #10 was Troy Saling

The one Troy owned says 10/50, this one says 10/60.

From some of the pictures I found in the archives, seems that Rob Fulop released some copies that looked like this after all.  Still not quite sure why, but some copies he released show x/60 and others show x/50.  Looks like this could be legit after all.  I'll be watching this auction.  I've always wondered what mine would bring if I ever had to auction it off.

Like I said, I believe this is from the original release that didn't include a letter. Instead, the game was sold in an Amaray case with the instructions on the back of the case. Rob Fulop apparently made a mistake in numbering and I believe he previously admitted that there were two copies of #7 out there. He probably made the same error here. This is definitely a different copy than Troy Saling's as there are pictures of his around the Internet and it's a second release version.

So apparently there are over 100 of these? I didn't know there were two releases. Would have to say the first would be worth more

It sounds like he produced and sold 10 originally in 1986 or 1987 through a catalog/newsletter and then did the second release which had 50 numbered copies in 1993 through 2600 Connection Fanzine. It's odd though that he said he had 100 roms and sold all but five in the second run. In any event, the total count is somewhere between 60 and 110. I would agree that the first release is more valuable, simply because it had its own packaging and only ended up being 10 total copies sold. I don't think I have ever seen an original release one for sale either on a forum or Ebay and the last few second run ones with the letter have gone for $1500-$1700 on Ebay, but that was over five years ago. Here's the best info source I have found.

Portable Atari 2600 with built-in games? Doesn't look like it accepts carts.
