i just started listing these... it's going to take some time to get this all up

This thread is for INTERESTING auctions. What I can see on the picture and on eBay IS NOT INTERESTING. Most of your items are also in bad shape.

Sorry about the backlash when you just register to advertise your repros and worn cartridges.

I find this very interesting, unfortunately for me it is not tested but some others may have the skills needed to ensure it works. I saw the Combat arcade units (rarely) in front of movie theaters, and the controls make this more fun than the Atari 2600 version.

Coleco Combat console for home use; controls and plays like the original arcade units.

That's pretty cool, if it wasn't three times as expensive to ship it to me as the current bid, I might be tempted to buy it and fix it up. I would assume the usual "untested" being eBay-speak for "doesn't work" (I sold a bunch of software for systems I don't have recently though, that I really couldn't test, so the are are one or two genuinely untested items out there...)

Not video game related but an unusual item for Goodwill to have to sell. And it just happened to be my local Goodwill chain.

Almost definitely not a 'real' Stradivarius, there are tons of cheap violins with the Stradivarius name on them.

I came to this thread again because I love the $100 price tag and optimistic description for something that looks like it was found in a swamp: “Mint condition, still shrink wrapped, never opened. Some age/shelf wear to outer box.http://ww.ebay.com/itm/VISI-TREND-PLOT-for-Visicalc-by-Visicorp-First-Edition-1983-never-opened-/131247080031

Doesn't apply here, but in general people put way too much faith in shrink-wrapping, which is cheap and easy to do to an item in decent condition.

I know it's rare, the pictures make it look in great shape and the story matches up with what I know about them....but half a million? Really? :ponder:

The guy has been listing and re-listing the game for a few years now. Several collectors have tried to explain that the real value is probably closer to like $5K, but he just becomes belligerent and jacks the price up further each time. It will never sell and ultimately, this guy will die or go bankrupt and it will find its way back into the market at a more reasonable price someday.

Here's a rather neat one. http://www.auctionzip.com/aflive.html?method=getLotInfo&lotref=8DDFD0D260

It's an auction for an Atari stock certificate from 1989. I don't think anyone would be insane enough to bid on this given the bonkers premium/commission demands and starting bid, but it's still a neat piece of history.

These are common on EBay for considerably less. I got a dozen of them for about $30 shipped.
