Tempest
Ken Uston died September 17, 1987 in France at age 52. He died of a heart attack and not from being crushed under a crate of unsold Colecovision carts as previously reported. Tempest

Now he could have had the kernel working in 8K he doesn't really say. A variable flicker kernel could work in 4K though because Ebivision did it in their version of Pacman. Nukey Shay
But is it only 4k? Now that it's Pesco, I suppose we'll never know. Forgive me for being skeptical, but I just don't understand how that board layout could be done in that amount of memory. Has anyone seen the chip number that the PacMan-lookalike is on? BTW Pesco only has three monsters (Alien, anyone?).

What exactly do you mean by "probation"? Does this mean he was put on probation for his job performance? Was he not cranking out games fast enough? ..Al
Nukey Shay
So that's why PacMan took so long to get out of development...he was programming in a chain-gang until then. j/k (Which might have a bit of truth if Warner's Atari was run anything like Apple). Nukey Shay
Nope, that would be pizza...though eating that in Japan might be a crime (since it doesn't have tenticles or eyes).
