Tempest
Yes there is a Blackjack picutre label. The one I saw was dated 1986 and had the picture from the box on the main label and BLACKJACK in large yellow letters on the end (larger than normal). It's one of those freaky 86 error labels I'm sure. I've seen two so far, so they exist but are very rare (I still don't have one). Joel D. Park
You mention that the Minature Golf picture label is from Australia, do you think they really released a picture label in the U.S.A. too??
Tempest
The only way there would be a US picture label of Slot Machine, Star Ship, or Mini Golf is if Atari re-released them in 1986. I don't think Atari re-released any of these in the US in 86 but I could be wrong. Tempest
atari70s
your right there tempest it was a development label idea . it was made in 1977. it was to see what text label would be right after a few test and the 2 different release text labels for star ship i assume that atari liked the one withteh boarder and color label( my choice as well)
Tempest
How do you know this? Tempest
+-^CrossBow^-
Tempest read his other posts in the 7800 area. His father I believe knew someone who worked for Atari. He seems to know quite a bit of internal stuff regarding them.
atari70s
taht is true he knew some peopel who did the cart labels from some games ( super man in perticular) myy dad has many connections but he dont know the right people to get me rare protos it was a test run label ( thats why its rarer than the 1977 03 label and the familar text label

Joel D. Park
About Star Ship, when was that wierd Large text yellow and black Star Ship label released.. I kinda thought it was the re-release. But aparently not.
Tempest
I have that label, I think it was a 1982 release. I don't know what Atari was thinking when they made it. Maybe it's some kind of experimental text label they were considering? Tempest
