Albert
I was searching through 2600 auctions on eBay a few days ago and noticed several people are referencing our site. A quick search on eBay reveals several auctions on eBay containing the text "AtariAge". I'd include an URL here, but for some reason it seems UBB doesn't like very long URLs.. We're not complaining. ..Al [ 07-29-2001: Message edited by: Albert ]
Superjenn
I've been doing quite a bit of plodding around on eBay, and I frequently see AtariAge's rarity guide being regarded as an authority, too.
bcprs1
I wish more people would look at this site. It will at least get rid of those people who list games like ET and Adventure as "Rare"
Mindfield
It wouldn't get rid of 'em. All those hawkers of "Ultra Super Mind-Numbingly Rare Barnstorming Cartrige!" carts just wanna make the unsuspecting bidders think they're getting a great deal at a starting bid of only $20. At least most of the O'Shea's cons are gone 'cos they know it won't work, but you'll always have someone charging way too much for a cart for reasons that are little better than that there's a clear-as-day bust of Elvis on the label formed by Actiplaque... Ze_ro
References to the AtariAge rarity guide abound on Usenet as well... I noticed a few of them recently in rec.games.video.classic --Zero
