ok, i found an atari for sale and am not sure if i should buy it. its one of the early ones, i forget what they are called, but its heavy and made in california and has woodgrain. the thing is, it doesnt have any controlers and i'm not sure if it works. it has no controlers, power supply, or games. it has the rf cord tho. and its only $15. think i should buy it? i dont have any other ataris either... so i dont have controlers or power supplys to use on it.

i also found this, heres the description:

"An excellent (near mint condition) Atari 7800 system with all of the hook-ups (AC adaptor, RF switch, and 2 original good condition tested Atari 7800 controllers). The package includes 4 Atari 7800 games, all tested and working, and 4 Atari 2600 games, all tested and working. The 7800 titles are Galaga, Food Fight, Choplifter, and Pole Position 2. The 2600 titles are Combat, Pac-Man, Super Breakout, and Coleco's Donkey Kong. This is a very rare find, and all collector's should have it!"

the problem is its $70. not sure if its worth that. but it looks to be one of the early ones that can play 2600 games

Again...I would be leary...I can actually buy complete 2600s here...Heavy Sixers or not...for the 20-30 dollar range. That includes at least one controller...the tv switch box and the power supply.

As for the 7800...if it is an actual 84 model..then that price is unfortunately about right...(Still too high...).

If not..then it is way way too high.

Check Ebay..they have many 7800 systems there with everthing and you can usually get one for about the 20-40 mark depending on what it comes with...etc..
