maibock
13,450 I made it to the 2nd level without losing a ship, then promptly lost them all on one screen I'm really enjoying this game - good pick!
Kuddy
Heh, I scored higher last night, but I forgot what my score was. I'll try again tonight.

Kialan
My score is 6450. I don't have the game so I had to use an emulator. PrtScrn didn't work, grr

Dan Iacovelli
I really stink at this game plus I'm playing with a gravis flight joystick on z26 (it doesn't like pcaewin for some odd rason) if or when I get a score I think is good I will submit it. ScottHuggins
14150. That puts me at 5th?? Man, not a lot of people playing this one...I think it's great. (I also think it's interesting that Thomas is playing now that Gravitar is here... )
the 5th ghost
Well, Looks like I finally have a good reason to open my sealed Gravitar! I never played this game so I'll be studying the manual before playing it... I'll be looking forward to seeing what this game is like; I'll be posting my scores soon! Good thing I have time to play this week.
Ze_ro
Not a huge improvement, but better than my previous score: 17,900. --Zero
Keir
14,250 Slowly creeping up there. The second system is so much harder than the first I'm finding it hard to get any higher.
Christophero Sly
I finally made it in AND out of the reactor!!! I'm not playing for a high score yet, I'm just practicing in game 2.

Jeffy Arensmeyer
Nighty night. Time for beddy-bye. It's 233550, by the way. And here's some tips... .[*]If you need to pause. Everything will be there when you get back. [*]Fuel amountZzzz... ò¿ó
gospeedde
After almost an hour I managed to hit 1050, and that's the best I'm going to be able to do. I stand absolutely no chance of ever learning how to control the ship. I'm going to give up now. Here's hoping I don't suck this badly at next week's game. Thomas Jentzsch
(I also think it's interesting that Thomas is playing now that Gravitar is here... ) I had to give the ancestor of Thrust a fair try. Is it only me or do some of the shooting angles look wrong to others too?
Jeffy Arensmeyer
some of the shooting angles look wrong Sure enough. Where the ship aims and where it shoots are different at times. It seems like it's because of the size of the ship. Since it's drawn using even fewer pixels than the ship in Asteroids' date=' displaying the ship in the direction that the missile with travel [i']is almost impossible[/i]. My wife came bopping into the game room while I was playing and asked "Why are you flying a little ding dong around inside a fleshy tunnel? Is this one of those silly sex games?" ò¿ó

[/quote']Sure, but then it would IMO have been better (and also quite easy) to adapt the missile direction to the graphics.
Jeffy Arensmeyer
That's true, but a lot of the landscapes seem to be designed around the particular angles that the missiles travel. By changing the missile trajectories, some of the landscapes would have also needed to change. Overall, it doesn't seem to disrupt the game very much. Since you're constantly shooting anyway, it's just a matter of spraying the target until it gets clobbered. ò¿ó
