I've tried cleaning them, but all i get is a scrambled picture, or no picture, or a f-ed up game. They are Dark Cavern(no pic), Kool-aid man(screwy gameplay), and 7800 food fight(messed up pic)(I'm using a 7800, if thats a cause). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Charlie_ Posted August 15, 2001 Share Posted August 15, 2001 I've had the same problem with my pitfall II copy. what I did was take a pencil with a good hard eraser on the end and erase the "heck" out of the contacts on both sides of the card edge. It now works just fine. kpyrz Posted August 16, 2001 Share Posted August 16, 2001 You know what else works? Rubbing alcohol and Q-tips. Works like a dream, much better, actually, than the eraser method cuz I tried that too. I'm gonna test dark cavern and kool-aid man in my 2600 to see if they'll work in that. as for Food Fight, I dunno what's wrong with it.
