+Atari_Warlord Posted August 26, 2001 Share Posted August 26, 2001 Hello, my name is Waggie and I'm addicted to Atari games. This weekend my 2600 collection passed the 200 unique games level (210). I know that this is probably small compared to most people on this board, but I'm excited. I got back into collecting/playing two months ago when I found this web site. My original collection was 110, so I've averaged 50 per month. I think I'm going to need to slow down because my wallet is starting to get too thin. I was going to right off going to flea markets because there didn't seem to be any games I needed in good condition. So I went today thinking this would be my last trip. I was surprised that my two favorite vendors had a lot of new additions. I ended up buying 10 games, five in Mint condition, and the other five in Great condition. Nothing above a four on the rarity chart. But next weekend I have an appoinment to buy an item that is a six. I guess I wanted to express that the excitement of buying and playing games on my Atari has not changed since I started in 1977. I feel like I'm 10 again. Thanks for listening.
