khryssun
The game is PAL in Box (average++ condition) without the manual. It's rated 7 in the Atariage rarity index. What's the price evaluation for this item ?
Tempest
For the PAL version I wouldn't pay more than $30 to $35 for it. The PAL version isn't as rare as you'd think. The NTSC vrsion is the really rare one (I got mine for $47 because I took a chance that it was NTSC). Tempest
khryssun
Thank you Tempest I had no idea of the price. That's give me a idea for tradding Yes, I know the NTSC version is rarest and hardest to find. It's rated 10 on the rarity guide.
jahfish
hey khrys, you should watch out and test obelix before. make sure it isn't maybe a ntsc version. i was so lucky to find a ntsc version in berlin/germany. i got 80$ for it ... then weeks later i've seen one in bad condition sold for 172$ on ebay ... i should have kept it and do a trade .... as i collect both systems, i don't really care about the cart mode unless there's also a label variation
Tempest
Obelix is one of those carts that has a floating price. If everyone knows it's PAL and knows there's an NTSC version out there the price will stay low ($30 to $35), but if someone who has just started colelcting sees the auction and knows that Obelix is rare (without knowning the PAL NTSC difference) then the price can really shoot up. I guess it all depends on who's bidding at the time. Tempest
khryssun
Thanks all, I think it's a PAL version. I paid only (!) $9.5. I'll test it as soon as i'll receive it
