davidbrit2
Head over to http://www.jameco.com - they have just about every piece of electronics equipment known to man. I'm fairly certain that they carry the burners, and probably about a hundred other things you'll realize you need badly once you see the listings. Ah, to be a geek. :-) Be warned, though; the EPROM burners don't come cheap.
blyind
an EPROM burner is AKA as an EPROM programmer right?

blyind
ok, now i know why nothingshowed up when i typed in eprom burner, heh. i was pretty sure this would cost me a lot... but i have a master plan, lol. i have a lot of friends with snakes, so i breed lab mice by the 100's and sell them to my friends and local pet stores. lol, sounds messed up but i think it will really work. mos6507
It's possible to develop and release a game without ever using an EPROM programmer. You can use a Supercharger or Cuttle Cart during development and then work out a deal with Hozer Video to make the carts on demand.
blyind
yea, i though about that. but i like to tinker with stuff like this, and if everything works out right...i will be at next years CGE, at a small booth selling carts with my game on them... i hope, heh. khryssun
VCS 2600 carts use roms compatible with 2716 (2k), 2732 (4k), 2764 (8k)... chips. Anyway you have to know the cart won't work just putting the Eprom in the place of the ROM as the chip select line is inverted (high not Low). So, you'll have to use a 74LS04 hex inverter to correct this. There are more infos about how to make the modification at the Hozer web site. BTW Yes Eprom burner are very expensive !!! But if you buy one I'll may need your services Hope this help.
