Cart question

There is a cartridge for the Gameboy that you hook up to your PC and upload games to it, you then insert cartridge in your Gameboy, select which game, and play.

 

Is there anything like this for the 2600? (can a cart be modified?, or does someone sell something)

 

It would be so cool to play all those classics without having to find those carts!

I've never heard of anything like that for the Game Boy. There is the Cuttle Cart though, for the 2600, but it costs 100 bucks.

This can be done to some extent on the 2600 with a Starpath Supercharger. You can play most 2K and 4K games with it, but none of the larger bank switched games.

The Cuttle Cart can handle the larger bankswitched games, which is what sets it apart from the Starpath Supercharger. You can find more info here:
